Ok everyone, I hope you’re ready for some swapping!
Mark your calendars for Sunday September 11th at 6pm to come join me and some friends for the inaugural Yankee Swap. It will be a monthly show and after the first show it will fall on the first Sunday of the month at 6pm.
I’ll post the line-up once it’s finalized, so keep your eyes open.
If you wonder what goes through my head before a UCB grad performance, here’s a list of things I do/think:
- Think of witty/stupid team names (ex. Beshemoth, Father Goose, Meateor)
- Click through my itunes on random until I hear something that would make for a fun intro for the team names I just came up with.
- Any time someone says something I pick a word and let my head run wild with ideas of what I could do with the word they just said.
- I generally become more jovial as the time approaches…I’m about to perform a Harold! Why wouldn’t I be excited and jovial.
- Holy shit, it’s time to head into the city and perform a Harold…
